Men's Golf wins CCIW Preview

The Big Blue men's golf team competed in the CCIW Preview held at Aldeen Golf Course in Rockford, Ill. on Thursday, April 23. Aldeen Golf Club will play host to the CCIW Championships next week for the first time. Six of the nine CCIW schools were in the field for the CCIW Preview tournament.

The Big Blue shot a team score of 311 to edge out North Central by five shots. Senior Jack Bollinger led the team to victory with a closing eagle on the Par 5 16th hole. Bollinger fired a 4-over par 76 besting teammate Luke Butler by 1 shot. Senior Luke Bradley and graduate student Martin Ammeux shot a pair of 79s to count for the team.

Big Blue close out the regular season with a win and will head back to Rockford to compete in the CCIW Championships April 29-May 1st.
