Decatur, IL - Millikin University Athletics saw seven student-athletes earn College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors, recognizing the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program recognizes at-large honorees in five different categories - NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA, and College Division.

To be eligible, student-athletes must have a 3.50 grade point average and be a major contributor to
their team.
Akins was selected for consideration to the CSC Academic All-America® Team.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
