Matthew Kordesh Honored as CSC Academic All-District®

The College Sports Communicators released the names of their 2026 CSC Academic All-District® honorees for men's and women's tennis on Tuesday, May 12, with Matthew Kordesh of the Big Blue men's team earning the honors.

The junior physics major hailing from Fishers, Ind. is a first-time honoree. To earn the honors, student-athletes must have a 3.50 cumulative GPA and have been in the lineup for at least 75 percent of the team's days of competition.

Kordesh spent time at both one and two singles for the Big Blue this season, posting a 12-8 record in singles play. In doubles, with multiple partners and all across the doubles lineup, he posted a 15-5 record.
