Decatur, IL – Millikin University Football will be hosting a preseason scrimmage on Saturday, August 22 at Frank M. Lindsay Field. Admission to the event is free, with photos and videos prohibited.
The scrimmage comes in the midst of Millikin's preseason training camp, and is the only opportunity that Millikin will have to see any outside competition ahead of their season opener on September 3rd at The University of Olivet. The Big Blue will host the Red Devils of Eureka College. The Red Devils are coming off of a season in which they finished 2-8 overall, and 1-7 in NACC play. Millikin is off of a 3-7 season in 2025, which featured the team's first wins since the 2022 season.
The scrimmage is set to begin at 1:15 PM. Prior to the scrimmage, Millikin is hosting a free youth clinic, the Big Blue Football Future Stars Academy. The clinic is open to kids from Pre-K to eighth grade. Registration and check-in is from 11-11:30 AM, with the clinic starting at 12:15 PM.
