Millikin Runners Finish Second in Season Opener

         The Millikin men's and women's cross country team opened the 2018 season by both finishing in second place at the Titan Season Opener hosted by Illinois Wesleyan University at Maxwell Park in Bloomington, Illinois on August 31.
         The Millikin men had three runners in the top 10 in the 5000 Meter race. Sophomore Joey Davies was fifth in 16:41.7 followed by William Powell in seventh at 16:48.8 and Taijhan Nelson in ninth at 17:05.0.
         In the women's two mile race, sophomore Mackenzie Dixon was fourth in 12:27.2. Big Blue freshman Victoria Mineo finished in eighth at 12:40.5 followed by Joycelyn Vanantwerp in ninth at 12:44.8.
