Millikin’s Chris Vogt Named Academic All-Region

DECATUR, Illinois—Millikin University senior defensive lineman Chris Vogt (Warrenton, Mo., Warren County R-3 H.S.) was named to the 2021 Academic All‐District® Football Team, selected by CoSIDA. Vogt was named to the team for NCAA DIII Region 7.

2021 Academic All‐District® Football Team, selected by CoSIDA recognizes the nation's top student‐athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CoSIDA Academic All‐America® program separately recognizes football
honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. First‐team Academic All‐District® honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All‐America® ballot. First‐ and second‐team Academic All‐America® honorees will be announced in mid‐December.

Vogt, a Social Science (Secondary Teaching) major, had 35 tackles on the season including six tackles for a loss. He had one sack and one fumble recovery. Vogt excels in the classroom as well with a 3.75 grade point average.

The Division II and III CoSIDA Academic All‐America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2020‐21 Divisions II and III Academic All‐America® programs.
