Big Blue Wrestling Downs Elmhurst

The Millikin wrestling team defeated Elmhurst University 41-6 on November 4 at the Griswold Center in Decatur, Illinois. The Big Blue improve to 3-0 on the young season while Elmhurst goes to 0-1.
 
The Big Blue dominated the first three matches with Zac Blasioli winning by fall at 125 followed by DJ Millett winning by fall at 133. Jordan Carson scored an 18-0 technical fall win to give Millikin a 17-0 advantage.
 
Millikin's Peter McCusker (149) and Nathan Callaway (157) both won by disqualification with both Elmhurst wrestlers having their matches end for multiple stalling violations.
Dejon Glaster gave Millikin a 34-0 advantage with a 17-2 technical fall win at 165.
 
Elmhurst picked up two decisions with Joe Caringella and Nobert Crecan picking up wins.
 
Millikin closed out the match with Cade Scott winning at 197 pounds 4-1 and Ruben Silvas getting a major decision 9-0 at 285.
