Millikin Baseball Fifth Division III Regional Rankings

DECATUR, Illinois—The Millikin baseball team ranked fifth in the final public NCAA Division III Regional Rankings released by the NCAA on May 11

Millikin (2614) moved up one spot to fifth in Region VIII. Webster (34-6) is ranked number one in the region. Aurora (32-7) is ranked second followed by North Central (29-10) in third and Benedictine (26-11) in fourth.

The Regional rankings are key components used by the NCAA to selection at-large team for the NCAA Division III Baseball Field.

Millikin opens play as the two seed in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Tournament on Wednesday against Carroll University. The winner of the CCIW Tournament receives the conference's automatic berth into upcoming NCAA Tournament.
