Patterson In Five Way Tie After Round 1

Millikin's Jack Patterson is in a five way for first place at the Big Blue's Take Back the Night Tournament held on April 21 at the Red Tail Run in Decatur, Illinois. The final round is Saturday at South Side Country Club.

Patterson and four others shot a three-under 69 on day one to lead the field of 104 players. Patterson is tied with Lucas Poole of Rose Hulman, Dian Richie of Parkland College and Juney Bai and Michael Spitzer of Illinois Wesleyan.

Millikin is tied for fifth place in the team competition with Carthage College at 294. Illinois Wesleyan is in first at 288.

The tournament promotes Sexual Assault Awareness.
