Women's Golf Sixth at Dechert Classic

The Big Blue women's golf team placed sixth at their home tournament at South Side Country Club over the weekend of September 29-30, named the Dechert Classic after Marilyn Dechert who coached Big Blue golf for 12 seasons.

Madison Jessen was the top female finisher for the Big Blue, placing 21st with an individual score of 175. Morgan Dwyer tied for 24th after shooting a 177 over the two-day tournament span. Kendra Marnul took 28th with a score of 182.

The Big Blue women's golf team will be back in action on Thursday, October 5 for the CCIW Conference Championships in Metamora, Ill. at Metamora Fields Golf Course.
