Millikin Track Second at Rose-Hulman Meet

The Millikin Indoor Track and Field team had a good night at the Rose-Hulman Friday Night Spikes #2 Meet held on January 19 in Terre Haute, Indiana. The Millikin men finished in second place with the women's team coming in third.

Millikin freshman Kyle Hensley won the Pole Vault in 4.50 meters (14-9.00).

The Big Blue won the Men's 4x400 Relay in 3:21.71 with Caleb Bleich, Dayton Lasack, Colin Griffin and Jake Shumaker competing.

Griffin finished in second in the 60 Meters in 6.95 seconds and second in the 200 Meters in 22.48 seconds.

Bleich was second in the 400 Meters in 52.03 seconds.

Shumaker finished in second in the 800 Meters in 1:53.58.

Hunter Danberry finished second in the Weight Throw in 14.65 meters (48-00.75).

Emmanual Nwatu finished third in the 60 Meter Hurdles in 8.54 seconds, which was the third fastest time in the event in school history.

Millikin took the top two spots in the Women's High Jump with Hannah Sago finishing in first place and Alexis Wike coming in second. Both cleared 1.49 meters (4-10.50).

Alyssa Ruiz won the 3000 Meters in 10:28.12 with Emma Mallory finishing in second at 11:23.35.

Katie Risner finished second in the 400 Meters in 1:04.57.

Hailey Newill finished second in the Pole Vault setting a new Millikin school record at 3.29 meters (10-9.50 meters).
