Millikin Wrestling Improves to 2-0

Two days into the 2024-25 season, the Millikin wrestling team is 2-0. The Big Blue posted another impressive win over Elmhurst University 41-5 on November 2 at the Griswold Center in Decatur, Illinois.

Millikin opened the match with two victories with Cameron Lee winning at 125 pounds 12-5 and Coby Haney scoring a victory by fall at 133.

Millikin lead 21-5 after five matches after two Bluejay forfeits. Joey Jens scored a 14-2 major decision at 165. Dejon Glaster (18-3) and Benicio Martinez (20-5) scored back to back technical falls to push the Millikin advantage to 35-5.

The Big Blue closed out the action with two decision with Mason Clem winning at 197 4-1 and Leno Campbell winning at 285 4-1.
