Millikin Baseball Receiving National Attention

DECATUR, Illinois—The Millikin University baseball team is receiving national attention receiving votes in this week's D3baseball.com Top 25.

Millikin is 15-10 overall and off to a 6-1 start in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW). The Big Blue have won five straight games and won seven of its last eight contests.

Millikin faces off with North Park University this weekend in a battle for the top spot in the CCIW standings. The Vikings are 17-7 and 6-0 in conference play. The two team will play a doubleheader at the Millikin's Workman Family Baseball Field on Saturday, April 13 starting at 1 p.m. The series finale will be on Sunday, April 14 at 1 p.m. in Chicago. North Park also received votes in this week's D3baseball.com Top 25.
