Big Blue at NCAA DIII Baseball Regional-What Fans Need to Know

The Millikin (29-14) baseball team will open play in the NCAA Division III Baseball Tournament's Granville, Ohio Regional on Friday, May 17 at 2:30 p.m. ET against Rowan University.
 
The regional games will be played at Denison University's Big Red Baseball Field in Granville, Ohio.
 
Millikin, the three seed in the regional, will face Rowan University (27-13), the two seed in Friday's second game. Top seed Denison (39-6) will face Hanover College (30-15) at 11 a.m. ET on Friday.
 
Millikin earned its spot in the tournament after winning the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) regular season and tournament title. Rowan received at at-large berth into the tournament.
 
Denison, the second ranked team in the country in both top 25 polls, is an automatic qualifier after winning the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Tournament. Hanover earned its spots after winning the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Tournament title.
 
Tickets for the games will be $10 per day for adults and six dollars for students/seniors and will be available on game day. Both cash and credit cards payments will be accepted.
 
Handicap and limited spectator parking is available at Big Red Baseball Field.  Overflow parking is available at the Mitchell Athletic Center. Denison will provide golf cart shuttles running continuously from the Mitchell Center parking lot to Big Red Baseball Field.
 
All pets must remain in the designated pet area in left field. All pets must be on a leash.

The double elimination tournament continues on Saturday, May 18. The losing teams in Friday's game will play at 11 a.m. ET with the two winning teams from Friday playing at 2:30 p.m. The surviving team from Saturday's first game will face the losing team from Saturday's second game at 6 p.m.
 
The Championship game is set for Sunday, May 19 at 11 a.m. ET with the if necessary game following if needed.
 
The winners of the 16 regional will advance to Super Regional play in a best-of-three format on May 24-25 at sites to be determined.
