Davis and Welch Garner CCIW All-Conference Honors

The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin released the names of men's soccer players honored as All-Conference selections on Friday, October 31. The Big Blue earned two slots on the list, with Bryce Davis named to first team honors and Landon Welch earning a nod on the second team.

Overall in 2025, Davis scored 10 goals and posted one assist. He recorded two game-winners on the season, playing in all 17 games and starting 15. Seven of his 10 goals came in conference play, posting a two-goal game against Carroll in early October. The junior from Bethalto, Ill. scored on nearly half his shots on goal, scoring on 7-of-15 attempts. 

Welch, a senior from Millstadt, Ill., was the second leading scorer on the squad in 2025 behind Davis, totaling six goals and the top number of team assists with four. Playing in all eight conference contest, Welch posted two goals against Augustana and one against Carthage in conference play. He added a two-assist game against Carroll to help him earn second team honors. 

The CCIW also named the men's soccer RESPECT Award winners Friday, with Amari Terrell, a junior biology major from Rolla, Mo. receiving the honors. The CCIW RESPECT award is presented at the conclusion of every sports season with each varsity program recognizing one student-athlete. RESPECT Award recipients have distinguished themselves as an integral member of the team, their institution and community by upholding the values of Responsibility, Enthusiasm, Service, Pride, Excellence, Collaboration and Trust. The RESPECT Award recognizes the intangible traits a student-athlete possesses that exemplify great character and encourages inclusiveness and a positive culture.
