The Millikin men's soccer program earned three selections to the 2025 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® team.

To be considered for the list, student-athletes must be of sophomore standing or above, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, and meet on-field participation requirements.

This year's Big Blue honorees include senior midfielder Landon Welch, sophomore midfielder Aidan Welch, and junior defender Javan Grooms.

Landon Welch, a senior biology (pre-med) major from Millstadt, Ill., capped off an exceptional season as the team's second-leading scorer with six goals while leading the squad in assists with four. Appearing in all 17 contests, Welch also earned Second Team All-CCIW honors for his strong play throughout the 2025 campaign.

His brother, sophomore midfielder Aidan Welch, also a biology major from Millstadt, Ill., played in all 17 contests this season, contributing two assists while providing consistent play in the midfield.

Rounding out the honorees is junior defender Javan Grooms, a business major from Mansfield, Texas. Grooms appeared in all 17 contests for the Big Blue, anchoring the defensive line and adding two assists during the season.
