The Millikin men's and women's cross country teams turned in strong performances at the Brissman-Lundeen Invitational hosted by Augustana College.

In the men's 8K race, Millikin placed fourth out of 12 teams with a score of 90. Junior Julia Hernandez Lopez led the way with a ninth-place finish in 27:05.1. Close behind him, Reece Peters earned 10th place in 27:07.8, while Brock Richards secured 16th overall with a time of 27:18.6, helping the Big Blue secure their top-four team finish.

On the women's side, Millikin finished sixth with 137 points in the 6K race. Brooklynn Sweikar continued her strong season, crossing the line in 11th place with a time of 24:00.8. Freshman Brynn Behrmann impressed in the meet, finishing 30th in 25:38.5 to add to the team's scoring effort.

Millikin Cross Country will return to action on October 17 at the Bradley Pink Classic.
