Women's Golf Morgan Vogels

Women's Golf Fifth at 2025 CCIW Championships, Posting Two Top-20 Performances

The Millikin women's golf team traveled to Metamora Fields in Metamora, Ill. for the 2025 College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin Women's Golf Championships, playing 54 holes from October 6-8. 

The Big Blue placed fifth as a team, totaling a team score of 992 across the three rounds, shooting a day three 324 as a team. 

Ava Hackman placed 14th to earn second team all-conference honors, shooting a 245 overall, with a low round of 80 on the final day of competition. 

Kelis Morris tied for 17th to earn second team all-conference recognition, totaling 247 with a low round of 76 on day two. 

Ruby Haegen earned the RESPECT Award for the Big Blue. The CCIW RESPECT award is presented at the conclusion of every sports season with each varsity program recognizing one student-athlete. RESPECT Award recipients have distinguished themselves as an integral member of the team, their institution and community by upholding the values of Responsibility, Enthusiasm, Service, Pride, Excellence, Collaboration and Trust. The RESPECT Award recognizes the intangible traits a student-athlete possesses that exemplify great character and encourages inclusiveness and a positive culture.

The women's golf team's fall portion of their season will wrap up in Destin, Fla. at the GolfWeek October Classic at the Sandestin Beach Resort - Links, held October 12-14.
