NCAA Qualifier Recap

A group of Millikin men's Indoor Track and Field Athletes competed at the Wartburg College NCAA Qualifier on March 8 in Waverly, Iowa.

While the Big Blue turned in some strong performances, none of them appear good enough to improve the athletes chances of getting selected to the upcoming NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships.

Ibrahim Diakite set a new school record in the 60 Meters in 6.89 seconds finishing in fourth place.

Emmanuel Nwatu was fourth in the 60 Meter High Hurdles in 8.30 seconds.

Kyle Hensley won the Pole Vault at 5.01 meters, which was below his season best performance. Hensley is expected to get selected to the national meet based on his earlier performance looking to defend is 2024 national title.
