Women's Golf Continues Spring Season at Kathy Niepagen Spring Fling

The Millikin women's golf team traveled to Normal, Ill. for two rounds at Ironwood Golf Club in the Kathy Niepagen Spring Fling, hosted by Illinois Wesleyan on Saturday, April 12 and Sunday, April 13. The Big Blue placed 20th as a team in the large field with an overall score of 716. 

Zoey Beard was the top finisher, tying for 59th with a two day score of 170, shooting a day one 84 and a day two 86. Madi Jessen tied for 72nd, shooting a 173. 

St. Catherine was the team tournament winner with an overall team total of 607. 

Women's golf will meet Carl Sandburg in a dual match on Wednesday, April 23 at Red Tail Run in Decatur, Ill. before hosting the Take Back the Night Challenge beginning Friday, April 25.
