CCIW Releases 2025-26 Winter Academic All-Conference Honorees

DECATUR, Ill.—Millikin University, in conjunction with the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW), announces its Jack Swartz Award Recipient and the CCIW Dave Wrath Academic All-Conference team for winter season of 2025-26

Lane Thomann and Rachel Holthaus were named the 2025-26 winter Jack Swartz Award recipients. Thomann, a junior on the men's basketball team, led the Big Blue in both scoring and rebounding this season, averaging 18.9 points per game and 8.0 rebounds per game. In addition to shooting 50.6% from the field, he added 40 assists, 26 steals, and a 47.2% shooting percentage from beyond the arc. The physical education major hailing from Mackinaw, Ill. was selected as a College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin men's basketball first team all-conference player and has a 3.97 GPA. Holthaus was selected as the women's recipient, boasting a 3.96 GPA, also as a physical education major. The senior hailing from Pana, Ill., is a four-year member of the Millikin women's basketball squad, appearing in all 25 of the Big Blue's games this season. She averaged 22.6 minutes on the floor, shooting 38.5% from three-point range. Holthaus added 44 assists, 46 rebounds, and 15 steals on the season for the Big Blue.

          Each season the CCIW selects an Academic All-Conference Team. To be recognized, the student-athlete must be enrolled as a full-time student; completed two semesters of study at Millikin; must participate in a varsity sport during the 2025-26 winter season; and must carry at least a 3.30 cumulative grade point average.
