Millikin Wrestlers to Compete at NWCA National Duals

         The Millikin wrestling team will compete at the NWCA National Duals at the Kentucky Expo Center in Louisville, Kentucky on January 4-5.
         NUWAY hosts the NWCA Multi-Divisional National Duals presented by the United States Marine Corps and Defense Soap features almost 320 wrestlers from 84 teams in five different collegiate wrestling divisions. This year's field includes 65 ranked teams with the NCAA Division III teams squaring off in a 24-team bracket.
         The 21st ranked Millikin Big Blue will face Heidelberg University in an opening round match on Friday at 9 a.m. ET. The winner of that match will advance to take on third ranked Johnson & Wales University at 11 a.m. The Big Blue defeated Heidelberg 28-19 at the Olivet College Comet Duals on November 17.
         Millikin features three ranked wrestlers in Chris Williams, Bradan Birt and Keajion Jennings all returning All-Americans. Williams (1-1) is ranked fourth at 141 pounds. Birt (9-2) is ranked eighth in the 157-pound weight class. Jennings (10-1) is the third ranked wrestler at 197 pounds.
