Millikin Women’s Golf Ninth at Dechert Classic

The Millikin women's golf team finished in ninth place at its own Dechert Classic on September 24-25 in Decatur. Friday's round was at
Red Tail Run Golf Course with Saturday's action at South Side Country Club.

Millikin finish in ninth place after shooting a two-day total of 714 (356-358). Illinois Wesleyan was the event winner at 621.

The Big Blue's top finisher was Taylor Chase who finished in 30th at 170. Mckenna Parkhouse tied for 47^th at 181.

The tournament honors former longtime Millikin golf coaches Marilyn and Dick Dechert.
