Wrestling Hosts Millikin Open

The Millikin wrestling team hosted its annual Millikin Open on November 12 at the Griswold Center in Decatur, Illinois. No team scores were kept in the event.

The Big Blue won two of the two weight class and had six wrestlers finish in the top three in their weight class.

Millikin's Jordan Carson was the winner at 141 pounds going 3-0 with a win by technical fall, by fall and a 6-0 decision in the Championship match over Vincent Menozzi (University of Chicago). The Big Blue's Nathan Callaway was the winner at 157 with a 4-0 record. Callaway had three technical falls and one fall. He won the Championship match by tech fall 16-0 over David Burgess (Huntingdon).

Millikin's Peter McCusker was second at 149 and Cade Scott was second at 197. Coby Haney finished in third place at 125 with DJ Millett coming in third at 133.
