Millikin Golf Hosts Take Back the Night Challenge

        The Millikin men's and women's golf teams wrapped up round one of its own Take Back the Night Challenge on April 22 at the Hickory Point Golf Course in Decatur. The final round will be played on Saturday at Red Tail Run Golf Course.
        The Millikin men are in eighth place after the first round with a team score of 321. Parkland College is the round one leader at 294.
        The Big Blue's top player was Tyler Reitz who shot a 76 to tie for 13th place. Parkland's Cory Neville and Roo Fenwick are tied for first at even par 72.
        In the women's competition, Millikin is in third place with a score of 348.  DePauw University is in first place at 331.
        Millikin's top golfer is Claire Rendleman who is tied for third at 83. Makenna Parkhouse is also in the top 10 tied for eighth at 86. DePauw's Paige Sanfelippo is in first place at 80.
        The Take Back the Night Challenge is held in April, which is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. The event is designed with the vision to instill change on our campus campuses and empower the student-athletes that are participating.
