Blasioli Wins at 125 Pounds at Pete Willson Invite

Millikin University junior Zac Blasioli was the Champion at 125 pounds at the 32 team Pete Willson Invite hosted by Wheaton College on January 27-28 in Wheaton, Illinois.
Millikin finished in 14th place in the team standings with only eight wrestlers competing.

After posting three wins on Friday, Blasioli won his semifinal match on Saturday 10-3 over Kie Anderson of Concordia (Moorhead). In the Championship match, Blasioli defeated Christian Guzman of North Central 7-2. Blasioli is now 20-2 on the season and ins ranked third in the country in the post recent NWCA Individual Rankings.

Senior Jordan Carson finished in sixth place at 141 after going 4-3 in the tournament.
