Millikin Golf Hosts Take Back the Night Challenge

The Big Blue Men's and Women's Golf teams hosted its annual Take Back the Night Challenge April 19-20 at Red Tail Run and South Side Country Club. The tournament is its 6th year of running. The month of April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month and we created this event with the vision to instill change on our college campuses and empower those student-athletes we work with. A college golf tournament is a unique opportunity where many college students and coaches from various communities can come together and talk about relevant issues that occur on our college campuses. We want to spread the word, know how to act, and put an end to sexual violence. Together we can make a difference.

The Millikin Men moved up the leaderboard after the first round to finish in a tie for 6th place (307-304). Sophomore Jack Bollinger continued his good play and was Millikin's top finisher with a 75-75 tying for 14th out of 100 players.

The Millikin Women finished 6th place (362-352). Junior Madi Jessen was Millikin's top finisher going 85-84. This is the last tournament of the season for the women.

The men finish the season with the CCIW Conference on May 2-4at WeaverRidge in Peoria, IL.
